This recipe allows you to add something flavorful to already loved scalloped corn. A very easy, but delicious recipe!

INGREDIENTS

  • 2-16 oz cans of whole kernel corn
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon dried minced onion
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 green pepper, chopped
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 4 oz shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten

DIRECTIONS

  1. Drain corn.
  2. Place corn, flour and sugar in an oiled baking dish and mix.
  3. Add milk, egg, egg whites, onion and green pepper. Mix well.
  4. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Bake in oven at 400 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes, or until set.
  6. Makes 8 servings.
