Cherry Crisp
Cherry crisp is a tart and flavorful dessert hiding a perfect healthy treat! Upgrade this recipe with fresh sour cherries in season. This dessert is perfect after one our diabetic-friendly dinners.
INGREDIENTS FOR CHERRY CRISP
- 1 can low-sugar cherry pie filling
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/3 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons margarine
DIRECTIONS
- Spread cherry pie filling in an 8 inch square baking dish.
- Mix flour, oatmeal, and brown sugar together.
- Cut margarine into oatmeal mixture.
- Crumble oatmeal mixture over the top of the cherries.
- Bake at 30 minutes at 375 degrees.
- Makes 8 servings.
