Meal Makeover
Keep the meals you love — just change how they land. Tell us what's on your plate and we'll suggest swaps that soften the glucose spike, check the balance of your plate, and show you how to test the result on your sensor.

Plate check
A diabetes-friendly plate is roughly half non-starchy veggies, a quarter protein, a quarter fiber-rich carbs, with water or an unsweetened drink.

Eat it smarter
Eating vegetables and protein before the starch can noticeably flatten the curve. Save the bread, rice, or pasta for the second half of the meal.
A short walk after eating helps your muscles soak up glucose. Even dishes or tidying up counts.
Pair carbs with protein, fiber, or healthy fat — it slows digestion so glucose rises more gently.
Eat the original one day and the remade version another, then compare your glucose 1–2 hours after each. Everyone responds differently — the Halebee app shows you which swaps work for your body.
Keep going
Education only, not medical advice. If you take insulin or medications that can cause lows, talk with your care team before making big changes to your carbs — your doses may need adjusting.
